The first of two recent Move D releases that have really caught out ears this week is this little oddity released 27/05/13 on Curle… here’s how it came to pass… Move D is a true legend in deep, house music. We own A LOT of his records.
“When we found the track ‘Wanna Do’ on the 50th Groove magazine cd full of exclusive tracks, we contacted him to ask if he would be interested in a vinyl release. The track was too good to be only available through that cd. So Move D sent a second - also really great - track along, and the result is what you’re listening to at the moment. The first 300 copies are available on marbled purple vinyl. Get yours.”

The second has been doing the rounds for the past couple of months but has finally seen the light of day on wax this week. A subtle groove and a beautiful bass synth have been tied together in a way only David can.

I promised to make this mixtape in August after a party I played in Berlin, it’s taken this long to put it together! It’s a selection of tracks that lit up the dance floor on the other side of the channel, but as usual I’ve chucked in a couple of tracks that have been doing it for me since too. Noticeably tracks from Tapped resident Debonair, currently on leave in Australia, with his massive ‘Rivage’ that been topping the Juno download charts & lighting up the basement of the Queen of Hoxton for months! Another track thats really doing it for me in this mix is, all round top fellow and friend of the show; Alphabet City’s Berlin inspired track ‘Kreuzbergin’.
